Mirror the Word

This work is inspired by the word of God, especially dealing with creation and the covenants of God, as well as Exodus 30:17-21. In Biblical times people would enter the tabernacle and wash themselves in the laver of water. As they looked up they might see themselves reflected in the surface of the water as if it was a mirror. I carried this thought as I created this work.​

It is my prayer that viewers be blessed as the contemplate these works and enjoy the images as much as I have enjoyed creating them.

The images are created through the process of collage and use mixed mediums such as photographs, posters, prints, old watercolor work, glue, transfers, color pencils, gesso, acrylics, and Mylar paper.
