Nic Sweet: Inner and Outer Worlds

Nic Sweet is an Alaskan artist and arts educator living in Rochester, NY. His work ranges from science fantasy dream worlds to contemporary social realism. After working in television and making underground/outsider art for many years, he went to art school for character animation at Calarts. He later became an arts educator attaining an M.A.ed in Secondary Education/k-12 Art Certification from UAF and taught for several years in rural Inupiat communities in Alaska. He met his wife Vanessa at art school and has traveled across the North American continent several times with their two daughters Luna and Kaija.
